WESTERN ELECTRIC MODEL 202: A Western Electric oval base Model 202 phone from the 1930's. Has been professionally powder coated in a black semi-gloss paint. Has the early E1 type handset with a new black curly cord added. Has a W.E. #5 type rotary dial. Has new felt on the bottom base. Note: this phone requires the addition of a subset to make it functionable - optional.

W.E TYPE 500 CLONE: A Western Electric type 500 clone made by Stromberg Carlson. Case is brown plastic and has two scratches on left side as seen in photo, otherwise very good for this type of plastic phone prone to geeting banged up a lot.Cleaned, tested and ready to plug in and use. Good phone for the workshop or garage, etc.

click to enlarge WESTERN ELECTRIC 302: A Western Electric Model 302, the work horse of the phone industry from mid 1930's and well into the 1950's. This is the early version with the heavy metal base verses the latter one's that had a plastic case. Professionally powder-coated in semi-gloss black paint. Has a new straight cloth covered brown handset cord and a new cloth covered brown modular cord, Fully restored and ready to plug in and use.

click to enlarge WESTERN ELECTRIC 637A (subset): A Western Electric type 637A Magneto box converted to use as subset. Has an added W.E. 101A induction coil. The ringer bell is a W.E. 1000 ohm with bias spring. Wood case is oak wood and 6 5/8" wide and 9" high. Has brass bells on front of case. The side magneto crank hole has been covered up with a blank plate. A nice item for those that wish to have their subset in view verses most that are hidden out of sight.

click to enlarge AUTOMATIC ELECTRIC SUBSET: A black bakelite Automatic Electric subset box. Has an A.E. D282155 induction coil (as used in A.E. Model 34 phones) and a modified A.E. frequency ringer bell to ring on todays 20 cycle ringer frequency. This box looks in very good condfition, not quite like-new. Requires a 4-conductor cord to use with an W.E. phone and even will work with A.E. phones. Basic phone circuitry knowledge required, comes with a generic diagram. Size is 5 1/2 wide, 7 1/4" tall and 2 5/8" deep.

Has new black curly handset cord and new black vinyl modular cord. This is a very scarce color, it is not your normal W.E. red that is commonly seen. This phone is a very bright red color. Tested and ready to use.

click to enlarge OAK BELL BOX: Made by H.S.B. & Co., called a Rev-O-Noc. Has a 1600 ohm bell without a bias spring. Case size is 6 3/8"W x 5 3/8" deep and 6 1/4 inches high to top of bells. Cabinet is oak and not refinished. Bells are brass (dirty) and could be cleaned or painted black. Note: no room inside box for an induction coil to be added..

WOOD RINGER BOX: A unknown manufacturer ringer box. Made of oak, the case has been completely refinished. Has top mounted nickel bells and two nickel binding post on bottom. Size is 6 1/4" wide, 4 3/8" deep and 7 1/4" high to top of bells. Tested for ringing operation of bells. Can be used as a external ringer box, A 101A induction coil for use as a subset can be mounted in case but room is very tight, I can do it for an additional cost.

W.E. 684A EQV. SUBSET BOX: This is a subset box for use with most 1920/30's phone. It is a close copy to the bakelite Western Electric Model 684A. Uses a W.E. 302 base with a 101A induction coil, ringer bell and capacitors. Has a new reproduction cover. Requires a 4-conductor cord (optional) to use with your phone. WESTERN ELECTRIC SUBSET BOXES: Western Electric metal subset boxes, various models and types. Also a few Automatic Electric boxes. All tested for operation of ringer bell. These boxes will work fine on any Western Electric telephone from the 1900's to 1940's such as candlestick phones, 102/202's, space savers - or just about any phone that required a subset. All require a 4-conductor cord from subset box to the telephone. Recommended for only those with some knowledge of wiring old phones. All #1042x boxes can be shipped by USPS Flat Rate box for $13.25 (or less if in USPS Zones 2,3 or 4). Note: shipping rates subject to USPS rate increases in Jan. 2019. The W.E.'s boxes are 9 1/8" high, 6 3/4" wide and 3 5/8" high.

WESTERN ELECTRIC 43F SUBSET: A Western Electric Model 43F ringer box converted to a subset with a 101A induction coil added plus two capacitors. Wood case looks to be Walnut (unrestored). Size is 5 5/8" wide x 4 5/8" deep and 5 3/4" high to top of bells. Will require a 4-conductor cord from box to phone.

WESTERN ELECTRIC 302's: I bought over 50 of the W.E. type 302 phones with plastic cases, fresh from storage in a barn the last 50+ years. These were party line phones so the ringer will not ring. Complete phones are not for sale but if you need parts for 302's than please inquire as to what you need. The parts available include rotary dials (#5's or #6's), 101A induction coils, switch hooks, capacitors, and F1 handsets. Also have some plastic cases with split rear corners. Not sure if they are repairable or glueable with epoxy as I have never tried to do it.

WESTERN ELECTRIC 302 BASES ONLY: These W.E. 302 bases are great for making your own ringer box (subset) using the reproduction covers made by Ray Kotke in Michigan (inquire for his email address). Bases are sold less the ringer bell as they all contained party line ringers which will not ring properly. Regular working ringers available at additional cost - inquire. Bases will be dirty and will need cleaning and/or painting, photo is of an exceptional clean one (not for sale.) See item #1041 for the reproduction covers that I use, also see item #1046 for photo of where these bases came from (ie - broken 302 phone cases). Note: July 2017, sold out of the bases unless you just need the metal bottom plate less the induction coil and ringer bell.

BRASS PANEL INTERCOMS: 1920's intercom panels of solid brass (very thick). I have made some dove-tailed oak boxes to mount them in. Nice decorator item. The one of left is shown in restored condition - it is the only one left to sell.Size is 5 wide and 8 inches high and about 3 1/4 inches deep. Has repro mouthpiece.
